Scarlett Johansson does the weather on 'Today' [Video]

Well, if the whole movie-star thing doesn't work out for Scarlett Johansson, she might have a second career in TV meteorology.

The "Avengers" star visited NBC's "Today" show this morning and learned that weatherman Al Roker was battling a bad case of laryngitis. When Matt Lauer asked if anyone could step in to read the weather in Al's place, Johansson gamely raised her hand to volunteer.

"I have a lot of experience with weather, yes," she claimed, saying that playing weather girl was "my dream come true." Roker held an umbrella over the actress's head as she stood in front of the outdoor satellite map, gesturing to various regions of the country and reading the forecast from a printout in her hands.

And she's obviously a Roker groupie; she even ended her segment with his standard sign-off: "Here's what's happening in your neck of the woods." Take your time getting well, Al; we'd be happy to have Scarlett read the weather for a few more days.
