Sean Hannity Fires Back at Stephen Colbert's Jokes Comparing Him to 5-Year-Old Reporter (Video)
Stephen Colbert compared Fox News personality Sean Hannity‘s on-air reporting skills to those of a 5-year-old boy interviewed at a county fair, and Hannity didn't think it was funny — even if he didn't know what the joke was.
“First of all, he's not as funny as Jon Stewart. Stephen Colbert will have the lowest-rated late night show,” Hannity shot back during an interview with TVNewser. “There are issues that just aren't funny. Terrorism isn't funny. I didn't see the bit. I won't see it. I don't care.”

While reporting from Israel this week, Hannity repeatedly dropped the word “literally” on air.
Colbert joked on Wednesday's “Colbert Report” that viral sensation Noah Ritter's reliance on the word “apparently” was “the sort of senseless repetition that marks a real news legend like Sean Hannity.”

“Apparently that five-year-old child can replace Sean Hannity.” Colbert added. “Literally.”
Although Hannity began his retort by recognizing that he understands “people have their job to do,” he ended up challenging Colbert to take a break from his job as a late-night comedian to seriously cover the Isreal-Gaza conflict.

“Maybe Stephen Colbert needs to come over here and get a dose of reality. He sits in the comfort of his studio, reading jokes written for him by 30 writers. So, I have a challenge for Stephen Colbert,” Hannity said. “I'll pay for your flight. I'll pay for your hotel, your meals. Then you sit on the border. You talk to the people. You sit across from the mother of an Israeli solider who was killed, and then make a joke about it.”
The funny thing is, Colbert's joke had nothing to do with the Isreal-Gaza conflict. Literally?
