‘Supergirl’ Casts Jenna Dewan-Tatum as Lucy Lane
Jenna Dewan-Tatum has joined CBS’ “Supergirl” in a recurring capacity to play Lucy Lane, TheWrap has learned.
The actress will play the younger sister to Lois Lane opposite Melissa Benoist as Kara Zor-El, Superman’s cousin who becomes the superhero known as Supergirl. Lucy Lane is described as brash and funny and just as successful as her older sister.
The series, from Berlanti Productions in association with Warner Bros. Television, will revolve around Kara at age 24, as she decides to embrace her superhuman abilities and become the hero she was always meant to be.

Calista Flockhart plays Cat Grant, Kara’s boss, Chyler Leigh plays Alex Danvers, Kara’s older foster sister and David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, a former CIA agent and now the head of Department of Extra-Normal Operations.
Others cast in the series include Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, “Nashville” alum Laura Benanti as Supergirl’s birth mother and former Superman and Supergirl Dean Cain and Helen Slater, respectively, in mystery roles.

Greg Berlanti and Ali Adler are writing the one-hour drama, and also executive producing, along with Sarah Schecter and Andrew Kreisberg.
Dewan-Tatum is returning to the small screen after her leading role on Lifetime’s “Witches of East End.” She is represented by UTA and Managemeng 360.
