‘Today,’ ‘GMA,’ ‘CBS This Morning': See Morning TV Ratings Rankings Two Weeks Into Season

‘Today” is on a ratings roll.

The NBC morning show won the second week of the 2015-16 season, drawing 1.73 million viewers in the advertiser-coveted 25-54 demo in the week ending Oct. 2.

The win marked the fifth straight week that ‘Today” has topped ABC’s “Good Morning America,” which drew 1.68 million in the demo. “CBS This Morning” finished third among the broadcast morning shows with 1.04 million.

In total viewers, “Good Morning America” continued its dominance over “Today,” averaging 4.92 million to the NBC show’s 4.54 million. “CBS This Morning averaged 3.62 million total viewers.

“Today’s” ascendance in the demo come as the broadcast news departments prepare for the 2016 presidential campaign to begin in earnest.
