Saturday Night Live welcomed Daniel Craig as host, but even James Bond was no match for the week's biggest star: Big Bird! The Sesame Street mainstay appeared on "Weekend Update" to discuss being mentioned by Governor Mitt Romney during last week's presidential debate. "It's so weird to think about that just a few days ago, I could just blend in like every other perfectly normal 8-foot talking bird." Watch the clip below:

The show's cold open also spoofed the debate, as the sketch suggested President Barack Obama's extremely distracted performance was related to his worrying about the anniversary gift he forgot to buy the first lady. At one point, Jay Pharoah's Obama tries to decide between a Denver Broncos sweatshirt and a "World's Best Mom" coffee mug when he is interrupted by moderator Jim Lehrer (Chris Parnell): "Mr. President, Governor Romney has just said he killed Osama bin Laden. Would you care to respond? "No—you two go ahead," Obama replies:

After acknowledging in his monologue that he hasn't done a lot of comedy -- the bit featured an "In Memoriam" tribute to all the people Craig's characters have killed on film -- Craig reprised his role as Bond ever so briefly for a segment highlighting lesser known Bond girls played by the likes of Diane Keaton, Ellen DeGeneres, and Molly Ringwald. Plus: There's Lea Michele, who sings bomb codes much to chagrin of 007:

At least Craig got to branch out a little bit when he wore a cool goatee and used a work-in-progress Long Island accent to play the husband of the Long Island Medium:
