‘The View’s’ Rosie O’Donnell Drops F-Bomb During Amal Clooney Joke

‘The View’s’ Rosie O’Donnell Drops F-Bomb During Amal Clooney Joke

Don’t make jokes about Amal Clooney and aging unless you want to hear ABC’s “The View” host Rosie O’Donnell let the F-word slip.

During Monday’s segment, guest co-host Nikki Glaser joked about George Clooney‘s touching tribute to his wife during the 72nd Annual Golden Globe Awards Sunday.

“She’ll age, and then they’ll have a chance,” Glaser said about women still swooning over Clooney. Glaser received a high five from O’Donnell who let the four-letter expletive slip.

Host Nicolle Wallace, along with guest co-hosts Michelle Williams and Mario Cantone, were left with their mouths agape.

“I hope they bleep that. I apologize. I don’t know why I said that. You made me laugh,” O’Donnell said.

“That’s the best compliment that’s ever happened to me as a comedian, that you said the F-bomb,” Glaser responded.

“Making comedians laugh is the highest compliment,” chimed in Wallace.

Before the joke, Wallace talked about her favorite moments from the awards show. She teared up about Clooney’s touching words to Amal, saying he couldn’t be more proud to be her husband.

As hot topics continued, a recap of the awards show dominated the discussion. Williams defended Catherine Zeta-Jones‘ dress after many compared the actress to the dancing emoji. Cantone had a problem with how sweaty many stars looked during the telecast.

“You know what I noticed, the air conditioning wasn’t working too well. They looked so sweaty,” he said. “Between the spray tans, which were out of control, they all looked like basted turkeys. What is going on?”

“It’s the trend. Everybody wants to be dewy,” Williams suggested.

Before the discussion ended, Wallace gave an update on Whoopi Goldberg, who’s nursing her back. Fellow host Rosie Perez is also on hiatus this month as she stars in Larry David’s “Fish in the Dark” on Broadway.

“I’ve had a herniated disc, which is something that has been so painful it made me wish to have my period back again,” Goldberg said jokingly. “I’ll be back much sooner than anybody thinks, and I’m back stronger than ever.”

Goldberg’s expected to return to “The View” next week.
