What to Watch: The TVLine-Up for Friday

On TV this Friday: Rob Lowe discovers his presidential roots, Nikita‘s trap comes unhinged, the latest Grimm creature isn’t so Ángel-ic, Blue Bloods tries to plug a leak and more. In addition to TVLine’s original features (linked within), here are nine programs to keep on your radar.

8 pm The Finder (Fox) | Just call Walter the Horse Whisperer as he helps Isabel’s friend uncover who murdered her racetrack aficionado father.

8 pm Nikita (The CW) | It’s mo’ money, mo’ problems when Nikita, attempting to trap Percy, convinces Birkhoff to sing to the tune of 20 million dollars. After a failed hacking and an arrest, the team splits up, trying to recover the stolen money and talk a walk in Birkhoff’s shoes. Check out a video of the action!

8 pm Who Do You Think You Are? (NBC) | At the nation’s capital, Rob Lowe is literally shocked after discovering his ancestors were connected to George Washington and the Revolutionary War. P.S. Next week, the series climbs the family tree of his Parks and Recreation co-star, Rashida Jones.

9 pm CSI: NY (CBS) | A wave of brutality threatens a small community when a body is found dismembered and strategically left on four street corners. 9 pm Fringe (Fox) | The teams on both sides fight on for a common cause, and there are shocking developments tied to the Cortexiphan children. Oh, yeah — renewed!

9 pm Grimm (NBC) | While Nick investigates a dead construction worker with ties to a long-standing conflict in the creature world, the prime suspect (Dexter‘s David Zayas) sends reapers to eliminate the Grimm once and for all.

10 pm In Plain Sight (USA Network) | In order to clear her name, Mary will have to lose her FBI surveillance tail and track down her vengeful father before anyone else does.

10 pm Magic City (Starz) | Mike Strauss’ body is seized, Ike reacts to a break-in, and Victor plots to get his wife out of Cuba. Vera secures Jackie Kennedy for a charity event but laments not having children with Ike.
