The women of WWE’s “Total Divas” were back for the Season 4 premiere on Tuesday, and the claws were already out as two of the hottest stars had a big decision to make.

The Bella Twins, aka Nikki and Brie, were ready to throw in the towel and say goodbye to the wrestling ring, but at least one of them was having second thoughts on the Season 4 premiere of the E! reality show.

As the identical twin tag team contemplated retirement, there were plenty of girls ready to step into their high-heeled shoes, including Natalya, who had a catty idea for a dominatrix character.

“In their heads they are thinking ‘the Bellas are leaving, I had better revamp myself. Make a new character so I can be the next Divas champion,” Nikki told her sister as the other women were brainstorming new themes. “It’ll be fun to see them all compete and try to take my spot.”‘

“You have to know psychology, you have to know timing, you have to know how to connect with the audience — it took me eight years to get where I am,” she added.

However, they all soon learned that it was red-headed Eva Marie that the WWE management were planning to move up the chain to replace the Bellas by relocating her to Los Angeles for private training, sparking instant jealousy from the competition.

“I will not let these energy vampires suck the life out of me,” Eva responded.

While the girls fought both in and out of the ring, the Bella Twins debated their future.

“WWE came back and counter-offered our contracts, offering us an amazing deal,” Nikki said. “At the end of the day, it’s not about money — I am here to make history at WWE, I am here to make a legacy and I am starting to come to the conclusion that I may have made a big mistake telling Mark I am not re-signing.

“Our goal has always been to the be next version of The Rock or the female John Cena so when you leave this you know another door opens, so why am I leaving this?” she asked.

The 31-year-old then tried to persuade her twin to wait three more years to have a baby, but in the end “Nikki Bella is staying but Brie Bella isn’t,” she said.

“Total Divas” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on E!
