The tall, dark-haired former model Rowland appeared in a number of NY stage productions including "Fuel" and "Waltzing in Wonder. " He made his film debut in a small role in "Under the Boardwalk" (1988) and also appeared in Bruce Weber's documentary on jazz legend Chet Baker, "Let's Get Lost" (1989). The actor followed up with a regular role on the syndicated series "Pensacola: Wings of Gold" (1997-1998).
