Veronica shuns Logan after learning of his assault on Piz. She quickly goes to work finding out who made the sex video featuring her and discovers a link between the jerky man responsible for distributing it and Wallace, who has learned he's been tapped to rush a secret male society at Hearst a la "Skull & Bones" named "The Castle." Veronica uses Wallace's in to get closer to the group in order to take them out as punishment for humiliating her. But what she finds is that the members of "The Castle" are some of the most connected, powerful people in the country, one of whom is an old friend and foe of hers: Jake Kane. Once he discovers that Veronica has stolen a hard drive containing all of the club's membership information, he sets out to take her down. But Keith stands in his way and uses his position as sheriff to protect Veronica, even if it costs him the election. Meantime, Parker breaks up with Logan after learning of the fight; Dick apologizes to Mac for how he treated her following his brother's death; Logan beats the snot out of the guy who sent out the sex video, who in turn threatens to kill Logan; and, the county prosecutor files charges against Keith for obstruction of justice, an announcement made in the newspaper on Election Day. Veronica casts her vote for her dad and walks off into the rain, her life different but still very much the same as when we met her.
