Colbert Honors Sweden After Non-Existent Terrorist Attack

On Saturday, Trump was under the false impression that Sweden had suffered a terrorist attack and no one was more confused than all of Sweden. Their former prime minister, Carl bildt, tweeted "Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking?" With Sweden and the rest of the world a bit confused, Trump said that he got his information from Fox News in a report about their immigrants. Colbert went on to explain that although Sweden has taken in thousands of immigrants, Sweden's crime rate has actually fallen since 2005. He went on to joke that, "In fact, experts say 90% of Swedish crime actually occurs in The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo." It seems that the Trump administration has brought with it a lot non-existent terrorism, including The Bowling Green Massacre and Atlanta. Colbert asked, "And now, it's not Sweden's turn. When will it begin?" With the recent rash of fake terrorist attacks, it only made sense for Colbert to honor our Swedish brothers and sisters, completely unnecessarily, with a video highlighting all the things that makes Sweden so great: Meatballs, Swedish chefs and Ikea.
