Charlie Day’s ‘SNL’ Appearance: What Did the ‘SNL’ Sketch Predictor Get Right?

Granted, the "SNL" Sketch Predictor is based on a combination of informed guesswork and pure imagination. But I will still get way too excited when I happen to be right about anything in the show. Below, a celebration of me and the things I accurately predicted — plus a couple of things I should have known to expect.

What I Got Right!

1. and 2. and 3. That the cold open would feature a politician giving an address, and that the episode would touch on the death of Muammar Qadaffi.

3. That the show would address Kim Kardashian's divorce from Kris Humphries.

4. and 5. That the show would address Rick Perry's recent maybe-drunk speech, and that Bill Hader would play Perry.

6. That Kristen Wiig would do a solo segment during "Weekend Update."

What I Should Have Also Predicted!

1. That Danny DeVito would ruin Charlie Day's monologue much in the way that he ruins every episode of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia."

2. That the show would address the Greek debt crisis.

3. That after his success in the "Iran So Far" Digital Short, Adam Levine might appear in a sketch.
